“Handle artwork layout, typography, and print-ready file preparation, ensuring every design translates accurately from screen to box.”
“Design box structures, folding sequences, and closure mechanisms in Illustrator and CAD, validating compression and durability before cutting a sample.”
“Review material specifications and production feasibility, bridging design intent with manufacturing capability to avoid costly rework.”
“Produce physical prototypes in a dedicated sampling workshop, turning approved designs into accurate, ready-to-approve samples within 5-10 working days.”
Design and production of your rigid boxes sit on the same site. Eight staff across four disciplines:
-Structures modelled in Illustrator and CAD; compression, folding sequence and closure validated before a sample is cut
-Sampling runs in a dedicated workshop, physically separate from mass production
-Physical samples delivered 7 working days after specifications are confirmed
-20,000 m² production floor, zoned by process: printing, surface finishing, forming, assembly, warehousing
-400 production workers
-14+ automated production lines covering forming, laminating, die-cutting and creasing
-Separate raw material and finished goods warehousing
-Sampling workshop held apart from mass production
-No process steps outsourced to third-party workshops

| STRUCTURE | Monthly capacity |
|---|---|
| Two-piece lid and base | 1,500,000 units |
| Book-style and drawer boxes | 800,000 units |
| Foldable rigid boxes | 500,000 units |
| Irregular and hand-assembled structures | 200,000 units |
*Each figure is that structure’s own ceiling at full capacity under normal scheduling. Figures are not cumulative.
*Delivery dates are confirmed by our PMC team against live line availability. Standard shipping terms are FOB Shenzhen Yantian. Full order workflow: see How We Work.
Greyboard weight, sheet dimensions and paper colour consistency checked against the approved specification before material enters production.
Every mass-production run begins with a first article signed off by three people: the IPQC inspector, the production line supervisor and the responsible engineer. The signed first article is the physical reference for everything produced afterward.
IPQC samples the line every hour against the same AQL standards used at final inspection.
Final inspection follows our internal technical standard for gift box procurement, transport, acceptance and storage. Simple random sampling from at least three packaging units taken from the top, middle and bottom of the lot.
| DEFECT CLASS | ACCEPTANCE QUALITY LIMIT |
|---|---|
| Critical defects | AQL 0.65 |
| Major defects | AQL 2.5 |
| Minor defects | AQL 6.5 |
Dimensions measured on 20 randomly selected pieces, performance on 10. A single failure in either check rejects the lot, and all inspection items are re-run.
Test reports issued as standard documentation, available before a shipment is booked.
| Test | Standard or limit |
|---|---|
| Transport simulation, drop and vibration | ISTA 3A |
| Temperature and humidity conditioning | ASTM D4332 |
| Spot-colour variance | ΔE ≤ 1 |
| Box compression, edge crush, ring crush | Against retailer stacking requirements |
| Burst strength | Per batch, paper and board stock |
| Salt spray and humidity resistance | Salt spray and temperature-humidity chambers |
| Tape holding tack and surface abrasion | Tape tack and abrasion testers |
FSC chain-of-custody certificates, PPWR technical documentation, material composition declarations and
third-party test reports are available before you place an order. FSCcertificates can be checked against the
FSC official certificate search.
A rigid box is a non-collapsible package built around a thick paperboard core, typically 1,200–1,500 g/m², used for premium gifting, cosmetics, and luxury retail. A folding carton is thinner, ships flat, and is assembled at the point of use.
7 working days after your specification is confirmed. That timeline includes structural validation in CAD, not just a rendered mockup, so the sample you receive reflects what a production run will actually look like.
Yes. Structural compression, label placement, and barcode compliance are built into our design process from the first sketch. We provide FSC traceability certificates, material declarations, and third-party test reports before you order.
Our standard minimum for custom rigid boxes is 1,000 units. Simpler structures may be available at 500 units with a setup surcharge. Contact us with your specification for an exact quote.
Yes to both. For every EU-bound order, we prepare PPWR technical documentation covering material composition and recyclability. Our production network maintains FSC Chain of Custody certification with certificate numbers provided as standard practice.
Send us your rigid boxes specs and target market. We’ll come back with material recommendations, structural options, and a real-material sample within 5 to 10 working days.. Sampling fee refunded
on your first production order.
